Get to know Arwen Wagers, MSIS, Collection Development Librarian

What’s the most unique book title you’ve ever come across?

How to Tell if Your Cat Is Plotting to Kill You. Perhaps not the most peculiar title I have ever run across, but one that I have always enjoyed as I am a cat lover. Early in my career, I kept a list of amusing titles and names that I ran across, and I often wish that I still had it.

Do you have any interesting or funny stories from your experiences working in the library?

My time working in libraries was uneventful! Wonderful patrons, interesting questions, and a complete lack of amusing anecdotes.

Outside of books, what are some of your hobbies or interests?

Embroidery and music are enduring interests of mine. I am an enthusiastic amateur harper. Last year, I took up Tae Kwon Do which has been fun but challenging.
